Janet and Micheal Jackson to Appear at VMA's Together

Thanks "Ade" for sending this in...So word is, Janet and Micheal Jackson, will make their first TV appearance on stage together after 13 years at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

Although Britney shot promos for the VMAs, we're told the real gold is Michael Jackson. Sources close to the awards tell us MTV honchos have been working OT to get Jacko to reappear at the awards.

We're told a deal is as good as sealed to have MJ present an award with sister Janet. {Source}

Oooh, this sounds exciting, if its true, I would love to see Micheal back on stage! Tune in to the 2008 MTV VMAs live from Los Angeles at Paramount Pictures Studios this September at 9PM ET.

MTV confirmed Thursday that comedian Russell Brand, best known in the states for his hilarious performance in the films Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Penelope, will be hosting the 2008 Video Music Awards. Not as well known as many of the previous VMA hosts (including Jack Black, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Chris Rock), this British import comes as a surprising choice for this year’s event.

The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles September 7th. Tune in to find out what Brand may have up his sleeve….or his tight leather pants.
