ESSENCE's annual 'Black Music Month', the June issue features R&B/Soul divas Alicia Keys, Jill Scott and Mary J. Blige. All have their own covers for the special issue.
I got the one with Mary on the cover... I wonder how they decide which subscribers get which cover...
I know I was mad as hell a while back when they had someone fine as all hell on a cover (I forget who it was) and tyler perry on the other cover and I got the tyler perry one... I was too mad...
@ Eb the Celeb: I know exactly the cover you're talking about. Wasn't it the "Most Eligible Bachelors" issue & the other cover featured three shirtless athletes in white pants? I bought that Essence issue at the store, just to make sure I got the magazine with the cuties on the cover. LOL
