Old School Friday::[Old School Hip Hop]


Today’s OSF theme is “Old School Hip Hop”. First song that came to mind was L.L. Cool J's "Going Back To Calli". This is a serious favourite of mine, cant get enough

    I almost picked LL. He has been in the game since forever.
    I ain't never been to Cali but this song is the stuff.

    Happy OSF! I was born and raised in Los Angeles ... so this song from LL always had a soft spot in my heart...

    I remember watching Going Back to Cali at least twice a day. Once on Yo MTV Raps, and once with Da Mayor on Rap City. Nice Choice.

    LL is a beautiful specimen of a man. And he can rap too! LOL! This was one of my favorites, but I do remember my brother and his boys were a little salty at the time for LL have the YT chick all up in the video.

    OMG I HATED this song when I first heard it. I was like WTF LL?

    LMAO But it grew on me and I eventually put it in rotation. Nice pick. :-)
