As you all know, The American Music Awards went down on sunday night at at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Here are some performances from the show accompanied by my little 2 cents.
Beyonce-Single Ladies
The show was pretty good, judging from the performances anyway. Ive always been a fan of the "AMA's" out of all the other award shows, they have the best performers. Beyonce stood out with her "Single Ladies" performance, she looked and danced the part, the intro was hot, she nailed that one., best "Single Ladies" performance to date.
Christina Aguilera-Medley
Another great performance was Christina Aguilera's medley, she did a medley of all her hits, although her vocals were a bit shaky, I still enjoyed the performance, little things like changing up her look for each song, didn't go unmissed, that's what made it entertaining.
Leona Lewis-Better in Time
Leona also impressed me with her "better in time" performance, although Ive heard her sing this song a million times, she managed to still make the performance interesting with different runs and stuff, so that was hot.
Mariah Carey-I Stay in Love
Mariah did a great job, it was hard to tell if she was lip syncing (like she usually does), but if she wasn't, I have to give it to her, it was a fantastic performance, she looked and sounded great.

its so obvious she was not lip syncing! she was clearly singing live! you can tell when she was walking down the stairs her voice was a bit shakey. but she still gave a great performance! the greatest artist of all time. who'd ever think that a young female artist will outsell elvis presley and micheal jackson. Go Mariah. im proud that pure talent still achieves greatness.
