Barack Obama, a 47-year-old first-term senator from Illinois, shattered more than 200 years of history Tuesday night by winning election as the first African-American president of the United States. He got 349 electoral votes over John McCains 159.
I cant believe it, The first ever African American president, that makes me feel so honored to be black, I tell you. I'm so thrilled he won, I think the transformation yet to come is gonna be amazing.

ReplyDeleteThis election was my first time voting ever (im 19)..of course I voted for Obama!! I was SOOO happy watching the election- I knew he was going to win right away just seeing the first numbers come in- but it just really hit you when the actually announced it. Amazing. His speech was great. I'm soo excited for the future. I can now say that Im proud of the leader that is representing the US!!
