The Talent Show that Made Leona Lewis a global superstar is back! And I'm gonna be bringing you coverage, every single Sunday(or Monday). The results show takes place on Saturday and Britney Spears, Beyonce and Mariah Carey have all been confirmed performers on the show.
If you are unfamiliar with X-Factor, it's basically the UK's Equivalent to American Idol. But with a twist, the 12 contestants are split into 4 groups
Girls//Boys//Groups//Overs 25's
This week was "Take That" themed, the contestants had to pick their favorite take that song.
The Highlights.
Ruth Lorenzo
Ruth is gradually becoming one of my favorites, she always brings it every week. This week she performed "Love Ain't Here Anymore" and boy did she sing the song. She was my favourite this week by a clear mile, im rooting for her to go far!
Alexandra Burke
Alex sang the classic "Relight my fire", her voice wasn't perfect on this song, there were a few cracks here and there, but that made the performance a little bit more interesting for me. I'm not a fan of this Egyptian like look she was sporting, but she still my favorite and one of the best singers on the show.
Rachel Hylton
Rachel faced JSL on the sing off and unluckily went home, but she went with a bang, She sang the classic "And I Am Telling You" and did it justice, one of her best vocals by a clear mile, its a shame she had to go, but she just didn't have that likability factor about her, ah well.
Guess who the musical guest for next weeks show is? "BRITNEY SPEARS", it was confirmed on Saturdays show, Britney spears will be in the house, first performance in the UK in more than 5 years!!!
