Chris Brown has copped a plea in his assault case. He won't do jail time, but he will spend 6 months doing things like road cleanup. He's also been ordered to stay 50 yards clear of Rihanna.
He'll spend 180 days doing community labor (8 hours a day -- 1440 hours total) -- which is, in effect, hard labor. He'll do his service in Virginia which is where Brown lives. A Virginia law enforcement officer told us Brown will be picking up trash, pulling weeds and washing fire trucks.
He gets 5 years probation for FELONY assault -- he pled guilty. He'll get supervised probation. He'll have to come back to court every three months. He must enroll in a domestic violence counseling program.
If Brown violates probation, he could get up to 4 years in prison.
Rihanna was in the courthouse but never entered the courtroom. I guess thats a fair enough punishment, I wasnt really expecting him to do jail time, lets hope he learns his lesson.

i think i may be one of d few people who actually still likes Chris Brown despite d incident. Oh well, i hope he & Rihanna puts this behind them & move on with their lives. I hope they both continue to make good music.
ReplyDelete& d report i read said Rihanna later entered d court room after Chris existed it. D judge too told her to keep away from Chris. but she expressed desire to have d restriction loosened on a later date. That made me wonder if those two aren't sneaking off behind people's back to see each other.
