Sugababe "Amelle" Hospitalized + "About a Girl" Official Single Cover

Sugababes star, Amelle Berrabah has been taken into hospital, treated for severe depression - sparking fears it could signal the end of the band. The singer, 25, cracked this week after trying to cope with yet another line-up change.

She will now spend at least three weeks in a clinic, believed to be in Turkey.

The band's first show with Amelle, new girl JADE EWEN, 21, and HEIDI RANGE, 26, in Leeds tomorrow night has been cancelled. A friend said Amelle was considering her future. The pal added: "She may decide the best thing for her health is to quit.

Sugababes hasn't been making her happy for a long time." The band's management said: "Amelle has been forced to take an unexpected short break away from the pressures of work following medical advice.-Source
