Singer Alicia Keys held her annual Black Ball event for her Keep A Child Alive foundation in New York City on yesterday (Thurs. Sept. 30th). The purpose of the event is to, "bring celebrity and pihlantrophy together to fulfill hopes, dreams and raise funds for children and families with HIV/AIDS in Africa and India." Attendees of this years gathering included, of course, Alicia & Husband Swizz Beatz as well as Usher, Whitney Houston not photographed (on carpet) Beyoncé and Jay-Z as well as a host of others.
