This is directly from TMZ. Apparently Kelis and her team of lawyers had a meeting to calculate Nas' earnings and this is what she believes she should receive:

– Nas pulls in $244,826 a month
– Kelis rakes in a relatively paltry $13,744 a month
– Kelis should get child support totaling $17,225 a month
– Kelis should get spousal support totaling $72,728
– Nas should pay retro child support totaling $29,522
– Nas should pay retro spousal support totaling $281,571

Personally, I think her personal income of 13,744 is more than enough to take care of herself and her child, but she is a celeb mom so she has her needs...... Thoughts?

Kelis is claiming that shes broke and out of money, that estranged hubby Nas has left her high and dry. Not offering her a penny in the wake of her impending birth. He hasn't surely, what ever happened to album sales?

7 Months Pregant Kelis Files Divorce From Husband Nas

It has been officially reported that 7 month pregnant Kelis has filed divorce from her husband of 6 years, Nas. A spokesperson for Kelis confirmed "I can confirm that she has filed for divorce...We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time."

They claimed the split was due to "irreconcilable differences", it is a big shame, they were one of my favorite couples, its sad they had to throw away 6 good years of marriage. I cant really say anyway, who knows if she has been enduring for a bout 2 years and finally said "fuck it". Its rocky times, hopefully some light should shed on why the couple really split, but for now,I wish them all the best.

Kelis was spotted over the weekend at a party for Damon Peruzzi in L.A, which herself and her husband hosted.

It was reported earlier in the year that, Kelis and her husband of 4 years, rapper Nas are expecting their first child.

US Weekly says that Kelis is around 3 months pregnant and already has a visible bump. A source said:
