The Talent Show that Made Leona Lewis a global superstar is back! And I'm gonna be bringing you coverage, every single Sunday(or Monday). The results show takes place on Saturday and Britney Spears & Beyonce have both been confirmed performers on the show.
If you are unfamiliar with X-Factor, it's basically the UK's Equivalent to American Idol. But with a twist, the 12 contestants are split into 4 groups
Girls//Boys//Groups//Overs 25's
So, the Highlights.
This week was "Michael Jackson" themed. All the contestants had to pick a Michael Jackson song. Alexandra kept it safe with "Ill Be There", I thought she did a god job, I love her voice looking forward to more of her.
Next up, is a Boy Band called "JLS", They sang " and I'm surprised on how good they did. They performed the hell out of the song, and actually sounded quite good, a bit pitchy at places, but overall it was really enjoyable.
My last favorite was one of the boys, Austin, he sang "Billie Jean" and absolutely tore it apart. I knew he was a great vocalist, but not as good as this. He did a really good job, he was actually my favorite of the night.
My other 2 favorites Laura and Rachel, didn't impress me at all this week, what a shame, but I'm still rooting for them still, so lets hope next week shapes up well for them. You can watch the others here.
I think Ruth did a GREAT GREAT job performing Purple Rain, i thought it was amazing!!

I'm glad Girlbad left, they were hidious.
MJ was hard week for them all really.
ReplyDeleteDon't like that Billy Jean version and wasn't keen wen Cook did it on A.Idol either than but different..
Diana & Alex was only real good ones though really a flat week..
Also was fond of the second half of Lauras song rest of song wasn't so great
yah this week was kinda boring..they didnt even since enuf popular michael jackson's songs...wat was that about?
