Mariah Carey::"Push" Premiere & Screen Captures
Mariah Carey attended the screening of "Push: Based On The Novel By Sapphire" held at the Racquet Club Theatre during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival on January 16, 2009 in Park City, Utah.
"Push: Based on a Novel by Sapphire" is an upcoming film about an African-American teenaged girl living in Harlem and the movie stars newcomer Gabourey Sidibe as a teenager named Precious Jones, Mo'Nique as her mother, and Paula Patton as her teacher. Also appearing are Lenny Kravitz as a nurse and Mariah Carey as a social worker.

ReplyDeleteI think Mariah’s makeup or “lack of” was intended in order to portray a character completely different then her own … which is hard to do considering she’s a pop artist who’s always “glamoured” up. Seeing the contrast on screen is crazy! …I think she did a good job
