Above is the 2009 version and official video of Mariah's hit song "Hero" for her new album, Ballads which is a compilation album featuring some of her greatest ballads to date. I must say, I am not pleased with this rendition. In my honest opinion, she's really losing her vocal strength. I have no official release date on the album at hand, but stay tuned for updates and the official cover! What're your thoughts?

i think she did decent considering the state of her voice now. i didn't expect it to sound like it did when she first recorded this son, but she doesn't sing like she used to.
